Fall Party!

Our fall party was a very exciting time today! The students in my class were very excited all week to have a party. When the day finally came today, they could hardly wait until after recess this afternoon so it was time. A HUGE thank you to all the adult volunteers who came to help out! I couldn't have done it without you.

 Loved seeing all the costumes!

Red Ribbon Week...

What a busy week we had! We celebrated Red Ribbon week and being a drug and bully free school. The theme this year was "We 'Mustache' You to Not do Drugs". We did several activites releated to being drug and bully free. Ms. Hay (our school counselor) issued a challenge to our school to wear more red than her.

You will have to ask your child about Ms. Hay and her red. She was beaten by a student who had on 1000 pieces of red.

Our top students this year included:
Issabella- 13
Quinn- 12
Elise- 12

Great job Kindergarteners!

 All of our red!

Health/Nutrition Visit...

Ms. Sarah comes and visits our classroom each month. Each time she comes we talk about being healthy/healthy foods, and make a healthy snack. The students are given "homework"...if they bring it back when she comes the next month they get a prize.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today we celebrated Valentine's Day by many of us wearing pink or red. No celebration is complete without having a party. We had a great time exchanging our Valentine's to our friends in the bags we each decorated. Then we enjoyed cupcakes and juice. We finished our party by watching a Valentine's Day cartoon.
